Objectives Of This Role:
- As a B2B enterprise solution, participating in relevant events and exhibitions is a critical lead generation and brand-building exercise and we participate in global events targeting mainly the US and EU markets. We are looking for someone to support the research, strategy planning and execution of these events and help maximise the impact of a voluminous budget. Every event needs to uphold the company’s mission and vision while generating qualified leads.
- The team needs a curious go -getter with a nerdy bent of mind, and someone who loves interacting with people as the role requires coordination with all key departments and a deep understanding of the product. This gives you a unique advantage of imbibing the best from each function and adding to your knowledge base.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of proven experience in B2B events coordination and planning, PR and communications, preferably in enterprise software solutions or in the cloud space or IT sector
- Organised with excellent multi-tasking abilities with the ability to stay calm under pressure as an add-on
- Outstanding vendor management and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A good sense of humour always helps
- Competent IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Social networking tools.
Job Role:
- Develop a complete understanding of the requirements and relevance of every event
- Perform research in order to gain a deep understanding of the different requirements and details of each event

Research where needed and liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order
- Handle day-to-day administration of events and programs, including order placements, vendor monitoring, travel planning, graphic requirements, and collaterals. Develop content for event materials and work with graphic designers as needed
- Track the overall event expenses regularly
- Carefully supervise event preparation activities
- Create and present post event reports along with the Head of Marketing.
